Yangon, Myanmar, 6th August 2025 — ATOM, Myanmar’s leading 4.5G VoLTE telecom provider, and KBZ Bank, Myanmar’s largest privately-owned bank, have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to explore a strategic partnership delivering inclusive digital financial services across Myanmar, including remote and underserved areas.
Under a shared mission to make financial services more secure, convenient and achieve 100% financial inclusion, ATOM enters this strategic collaboration with KBZ Bank, a leading fintech and banking institution. This collaboration combines ATOM’s advanced and innovative telecommunications services with KBZ Bank’s financial expertise to jointly explore possible digital remittance opportunities including mobile wallets, digital payment solutions, micro-credit products and accessibility of telecom products and services to targeted population.

Through ATOM applications, customers can easily make payment using KBZPay while co-branded offerings such as credit cards, micro loans, e-commerce solutions, other innovative financial services and customer loyalty benefits will also be given for various customer and user segments. Both organizations will jointly design, deploy and promote the services that support financial inclusion, expand market reach and comply with industry standards and regulations.
