Yangon, Myanmar, 29th December 2025 — ATOM, Myanmar’s leading 4.5G telecom provider, reinforces commitment to Myanmar’s digital future with comprehensive talent development and youth-focused initiatives. Through this strategic approach, including Talent Accelerator Programme (TAP), Internship Program, Beyond Better Future Programme, and ICT Lab donations, ATOM help bridges the gap between academic learning and industry needs to support the development of an innovative, future-ready workforce.
As a certified Great Place to Work®, ATOM strategically utilises people-first organisational culture to cultivate the next generation of talent with technical, professional, and leadership capabilities. Through ‘Beyond Better Future’ Programme, which provides students with hands-on industry experience, career exposure and professional mentorship, ATOM has engaged over 650 students from 13 Universities.
The Talent Accelerator Programme (TAP), a structured 18 months training program, drives youth development and skills enhancement. Since 2024, it has welcomed over 50 participants, focusing on high-demand skills in 5G, Cloud Computing, Data Analytics, and Customer Experience (CX). Furthermore, the trainees receive direct coaching from senior leaders and 50% have transitioned into full-time roles at ATOM.
"The future belongs to the next generation, and empowering youth remains a long-term priority for us. By investing in meaningful initiatives, we nurture talent and equip young professionals with the skills, knowledge and confidence to drive innovation and create lasting impact. These efforts help create a digital workforce that shapes a brighter and more connected Myanmar. Staying committed to our vision, we will continue to support our youth and provide them with the skills and confidence to lead and innovate.” said Mr. Ahmad Abdallah, Chief Executive Officer of ATOM.
In 2025, ATOM conducted a three-month Internship Program from 1st October to 31st December, providing students and fresh graduates with practical industry experience, dedicated mentorship and clear career pathways for high-performing interns across key business areas. In collaboration with leading academic institutions including Gusto, Matrix, Chindwin, and Strategy First, interns are tasked with hands-on projects to support business solutions alongside the seasoned mentors.
Ko Zarni Htun, Chief Human Resources Officer of ATOM, also commented that "ATOM is a place where potential meets opportunity. Led by our people-first culture, we provide high-potential talents with the right platforms to drive growth and positive change. We are proud to actively support youth in Myanmar while maintaining an inclusive environment that reflects our Great Place to Work® values.”
By broadening the reach of its youth development programme and strengthening partnerships across academia and industry, ATOM emphasises its long-term vision of nurturing Myanmar’s talent and advancing national digital readiness, empowering the next generation of leaders to thrive in a digital future. This scaling of these initiatives highlights ATOM’s essential role in shaping a future-ready workforce and fulfilling Myanmar’s digital transformation goals.
