ATOM Signed Internship Partnership with Four Leading Academic Institutions to Nurture Future Talent

Yangon, Myanmar, 22 May, 2025 — ATOM, Myanmar's leading 4.5G VoLTE network provider signed a partnership agreement with four leading academic institutions — Gusto College, Matrix College, Chindwin College, and Strategy First Education Group — to formally launch its long-term internship program aimed at developing young professionals for the telecom and digital industries.

The signing ceremony was held today, with the participation of ATOM executives, representatives, and department leaders. Representatives from Gusto College, Matrix College, Chindwin College, and Strategy First Education Group also attended the event, demonstrating their commitment to fostering industry-academic collaboration and supporting student career development.

The initiative will open opportunities for a maximum of 12 final-year students or recent graduates to join a 3-month internship program at ATOM. Interns will be selected based on defined eligibility criteria and will gain valuable hands-on experience through this professional development opportunity.

During the internship program, interns will receive hands-on experience in a dynamic corporate environment and gain valuable exposure to the telecommunications and digital innovation sectors. They will be mentored by experienced professionals from various departments and will have access to company-wide events, training sessions, and knowledge-sharing forums. The program also aims to serve as a platform for interns to build their professional networks. Upon completion, each intern will be awarded a certificate of completion, with the opportunity for future employment based on individual performance.

ATOM’s Chief Human Resources Officer, Ko Zarni Htun, who signed the partnership agreements, added, “Our internship initiative is designed to provide structured, impactful learning that aligns with our vision of talent development. We are excited to welcome the interns and support them in building career-ready skills.”

Originally introduced in 2016, ATOM has continued and strengthened the internship initiative to align with its commitment to talent development and long-term employability. Plans are also underway to expand the program to include more departments and institutions and to introduce structured intern-to-hire pathways.
