Yangon, Myanmar, 16 June 2026 – ATOM, Myanmar's leading 4.5G network provider, and a Great Place to Work® certified company, proudly celebrates its Anniversary, marking another milestone in its journey of digital connectivity, technology advancement, community impact and talent development across Myanmar.

ATOM recently celebrated its special anniversary together with employees, partners, and stakeholders, to recognise the company's achievements over the past years and reaffirm its long-term commitment to advancing Myanmar’s digital development and supporting the communities it serves.

In celebration of its anniversary, ATOM introduced the new ‘Toh Toh Squad’, a new lineup of brand characters consisting of Toh Toh, Go Go, Poh Poh, and Moh Moh. Designed to represent the diverse digital lifestyles of Myanmar’s youth, this initiative reflects ATOM’s "Beyond Better" vision of delivering engaging, customer-centric digital experiences.

“Our journey over the past years has been driven by a strong commitment to empowering people through connectivity, innovation, and meaningful community impact,” said Ahmad Abdallah, Chief Executive Officer of ATOM. “As we continue expanding our network and investing in future-ready technologies, we remain focused on creating long-term value for our customers, communities, and the next generation of talent in Myanmar.”

Since its inception, ATOM has made significant investments to expand network coverage and capacity, while modernizing its radio, core, transport, fiber, and solar-powered infrastructure across the entire network to ensure network readiness for the future. ATOM has expanded the deployment of solar-powered solutions across its network infrastructure, reducing dependency on conventional energy sources while improving operational resilience and environmental sustainability.

ATOM has built a strong partner ecosystem comprising 230 active partners and more than 500 active ATOM STAR Partner outlets nationwide. Through collaborations across multiple industries, including devices, banking and fintech, insurance, e-commerce, and travel, ATOM continues to deliver enhanced value, innovative solutions, and seamless digital experiences for its customers.

“Our commitment remains people-first, focusing on empowering youth, strengthening capabilities, and supporting communities. With innovation and continuous learning, we strive to deliver meaningful impact and contribute to Myanmar’s inclusive digital future,” said U Win Swe, Deputy Chief Executive Officer of ATOM.

As a key part of anniversary celebrations, ATOM sponsored cleft lip surgeries for 54 children in Yangon and Mandalay. This meaningful initiative provides life-changing healthcare assistance to children and families in need. This initiative forms part of ATOM’s broader multi-year community programme, which has positively impacted more than 1.16 million people across Myanmar through contributions exceeding MMK 8.38 billion in healthcare, education, digital inclusion, and social wellbeing. Through the Telemedicine Initiative alone, ATOM has reached 432,457 beneficiaries with total contributions of 331,856,938 MMK.

As part of our commitment, ATOM continues prioritizing youth empowerment through structured talent development initiatives, welcoming 108 young professionals into its Talent Accelerator Programme (TAP) and Internship Program over the past years. These programs provide young professionals and fresh graduates with structured industry exposure, hands-on learning, and mentorship from experienced professionals.

Celebrating ATOM’s Anniversary alongside its second consecutive Great Place to Work® certification, ATOM’s success remains rooted in its high-trust, people-centric culture. This milestone reinforces ATOM's commitment to accelerating digital transformation and building future-ready connectivity that delivers long-term value for customers, communities, and Myanmar’s next generation, growing together beyond better.
